Wi-Fi Networks and iPad

We have had a Wi-Fi network for a long time...but today decided to add another network. The new one is not connected to the Internet , but is used to let my DAW communicate with my iPad...so I can control the Mac music software via the iPad. Just started using V-Control and Touch OSC...both excellent apps...especially V-Control which works particularly well! Isn't technology marvellous when it works?
